‘Alexa, I’m bored…’

Your Alexa is a very talented specimen. She can tell you a joke, order your weekly food shop to come (ahem) to your door, read you a book, as well as turn your light switches – among other things – on and off.

But, apparently, things might be about to get very personal – as hot and heavy as your overworked ancient laptop – with your intelligent personal assistant.

A so-called smart sex tech company aptly called OhMiBod have invented a smart vibrator which they showcased at the CES 2019 tech show in Las Vegas this week.

OhMiBod announced the vibrator will soon be compatible (physically, emotionally, sexually…) with Alexa, Amazon’s voice-controlled digital assistant.

Alexa will be ready to assist in any way she can thanks to the company’s new tech, which includes app software you can install onto you Alexa in order to control the vibrator hands-free… Which is handy.

The OhMiBod Remote App makes it possible for you to control your OhMiBod vibrator remotely, adjusting speed, intensity and the pattern of pulses by shouting out commands at your Amazon Echo or Alexa.

For clarification’s sake you will have to use your hands at some point – until Amazon invent AI so sophisticated it cane deliver an orgasm right to your bed – because Alexa ain’t about to get up and hand you your toy to play with. So, just remember to ask nicely.

Presumably, it can be used if you’re flying solo or as part of a group dynamic thanks to this Bluetooth capability.

The system even hooks up with friends’ remotes – so your partner can control your vibrator from anywhere in the world.

The founder of OhMiBod, Suki Dunham, wrote in a review on their online shop:

I’m always amazed at technology and how it changes peoples lives. Not just mine, but people who write in and tell me that something I made changes their lives.

I’ll never forget the email from one of our brave Marines (away from his wife for far too long) who expressed his appreciation.

Well, anything for the troops.

It also works with your Apple Watch – which can track your well-being, health and fitness courtesy of Apple’s latest tech – and this was demoed at CES.

Amazingly, OhMiBod customers can now buy a vibrator which buzzes in time with your heartbeat using the Apple Watch’s biofeedback performance.

So, it’s one of the first vibrators on the market which has biofeedback-driven functionality.

Suki swears by her own products, which are designed by a guy called Matthieu who takes inspiration from the sea, apparently.

She’s particularly fond and proud of the OhMiBod’s musical capabilities. The company designed tech which allows the vibrators to respond to any music being played, whether you’re into EDM or Marvin Gaye.

Suki enthused about the product and shared her top tips with fellow rock fans:

I love the strength of the vibrations and how I can feel Dave Mathews voice on my body…

Absolutely whatever floats your boat.
